*GILA RIVER YOUTH FOOTBALL AND CHEER ARE NOW GILA RIVER CARDINALS*
Gila River Youth Football and Cheer is home to the 2008 American Youth Football and Cheer National Cheer Champions 11 and under open Divison the National competition was held in Orlando Florida in December 2008. They are also 2008 Pacific/Desert Mountain Regional  Champions 11 and under open divison which was held in San Diego California in November. This  was a first for the Central Arizona Youth Football League for sending a cheer squad to Nationals and first time an all Native American Cheer squad competed at a national cheer competiton. We are very proud of you.

Great Job to 2009 Gila River Raiders Tackle Cadet, Pee Wee and All American Teams.

CONGRATULATIONS GILA RIVER CHEER FOR PLACING 4th IN THE 12 AND UNDER DIVISION AT THE AMERICAN YOUTH CHEER NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS IN ORLANDO FLORIDA! GREAT JOB AGAIN WE ARE SO VERY PROUD OF  YOU!!!
